Hi! I’m Tong Li.

I’m a PhD student at Department of Chinese and Bilingual Studies, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, supervised by Prof. Yao Y.

My master’s research focuses on L2 and L3 intonation aqcuisition. Currently, I’m particularly fascinated by the variability and invariability of prosody across tonal and non-tonal languages, as well as how those covaring prosodic cues contribute to our processing of tone and intonation.
